Background:
I started my professional career working the sales floor in several outdoor recreation shops, then in 2021 I made the transition to tech sales, becoming an SDR for a DTC marketing agency that ran their outbound like a SAAS company. Within 2 months I had taken over the team as SDR manager and we were booking over 50 qualified meetings per month as a three person team. I developed niche sales sequences that used short messaging to appeal to DTC marketers (one of the hardest ICPs to sell to).
Unfortunately due to uncontrollable factors our agency laid off the majority of employees at the beginning of 2023 end of 2022. This left me to my own devices to make money and try to land a new job somewhere. But I had learned something about myself in the process. I can't work for just one company doing just one thing, its boring and i'll go bonkers. So I decided to start my own business and, let me tell you, business is booming. Just after two weeks I had four clients, I'm doing mostly marketing for SMBs at the moment and I found myself missing the grind of cold outreach and building inbound sales funnels.
Would love to help some startups get their inbound really fired up.
