LeftBrain Technology is currently looking for intelligent, creative and competitive people seeking their next technical sales opportunity. This is a great opportunity with a young, innovative technology company based in the Tampa, FL area - poised for continued growth.

Selling data services is about problem solving and giving our clients better insights – into their business, their own customers, their industries, etc. The Technical Sales Development Reps (SDRs) will utilize their technical sales and relationship skills to prospect and initiate conversations with decision makers in order to qualify leads and set appointments for our Innovation Team.

As a member of the LeftBrain team, you will be responsible for prospecting and developing new relationships with future clients. This involves contacting and qualifying potential clients throughout central Florida, the surrounding areas, and beyond to establish a business need that can be solved with better structure, access and visualization of their data.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Sales Development Reps will source and develop profitable new business as follows:

  • “Get the sale” using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, networking events, email and social campaigns, presentations, etc)
  • Prior professional technical sales experience required
  • Willingness to spend majority of time prospecting new business
  • Confident in cold calling and speaking with executive level clients
  • Track record of sales growth from new & existing accounts
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Must be well spoken
  • Self-confidence, takes initiative and a positive, upbeat attitude
  • Excellent phone skills, with the ability to effectively listen
  • Accountable for personal performance & measurable results
  • Evaluate customers technology goals, needs and build productive long lasting relationships
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
  • Attend networking meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in technical sales or related field
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Salesforce preferred
  • Ability to effectively engage in warm calling and outbound calling
  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales and negotiation
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
