Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a positive, flexible and highly motivated sales person to support our CEO and growing sales team.
You will be responsible for:
- General sales administration and support
- Emailing and calling prospects
- Project managing prospects through our sales process
- Liaising directly with prospects to confirm pitches and complete follow ups
- Issuing sales proposals and other relevant documentation
- Facilitating the handover from sales to our production team
- You will work closely with our design studio and admin team.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Managing all aspects of sales administration
- Supporting prospect relationships, for example:
- Direct contact prior to and following sales calls/meetings
- Hosting and attending meetings with prospects to capture actions and next steps
- Initiating contact with prospects/clients under the guidance of the CEO
- Researching individual prospects and their organizations/upcoming projects
- Following up with client leads, keeping our CRM system up to date and identifying new potential opportunities
- Assisting with marketing activities
- Attending weekly team meetings to provide sales updates to the broader team
- Production of sales reports to measure performance against targets
Experience and Knowledge
Essential
- Some sort of previous experience in Sales (this could be a Support/Administration/Project Management role)
- A good understanding of sales processes
- Excellent organisational, written, and oral communication skills
Desirable
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- A desire to develop your career within sales or marketing
- Experience in lead generation and client support
- Experience in supporting prospect/client meetings
Skills
- Results-focused and a self-start, strong ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a team player
- Having a proactive approach towards problem-solving. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- IT and digital literacy e.g. experience with Microsoft Office, LinkedIn and automation tools such as Monday.com (or similar)
