Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Sales Representative who not only excels in driving new business but also fits seamlessly into our company culture. We are a team of focused professionals, some might even say obsessed, with creating successful outcomes for small businesses—especially those led by historically disadvantaged entrepreneurs. However, we recognize that work isn’t everything. In this fully remote, commission-based role, you'll be responsible for lead generation through outbound efforts such as cold outreach and responding to RFPs. You will play a key role in expanding our reach across various industries, with the flexibility to set your own hours and control your workflow.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and qualify outbound leads through cold outreach, networking, and RFP submissions.
  • Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities across the US, focusing on small businesses, SMEs, and government contracts.
  • Research and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) that align with our service offerings.
  • Drive new leads into the pipeline and help qualify opportunities for the team.
  • Identify potential partnership opportunities with marketing companies looking for a reliable partner to fulfill their web development needs.
  • Assist in follow-up on long-term leads (those that take more than 90 days to close).
  • Identify ways to expand service or product offerings, creating additional revenue opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, positioning our services effectively to meet their needs.Utilize your own sales tools and resources for prospecting, outreach, and closing deals.

Requirements:

  • Proven B2B sales experience, preferably within web development or digital marketing.
  • Experience responding to RFPs and securing service-based contracts is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, utilizing your own sales resources and tools.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Metrics for Success:

  • Lead Generation: Expected to generate 10-20 qualified leads per month, with flexibility for seasonal fluctuations.
  • Conversion: Aiming for a 10-15% conversion rate on qualified leads.
  • Revenue: Monthly revenue target of $10,000–$30,000 based on deal size and volume.
  • Long-Term Lead Nurturing: Support in following up on leads that take more than 90 days to close.
  • Partnership Development: Identifying opportunities with other companies, especially marketing firms, that are looking for a partner to handle their web development projects.
  • Service Expansion: Helping to identify opportunities to expand our service offerings to create more revenue opportunities.

Perks:

  • Payment as soon as contracts close.
  • Minimum monthly retainer for each month a deal is closed.
  • Annual profit share: 1% on all company profits over $10,000, scaling up to 5% on profits over $50,000.
  • Consideration of long-term or recurring contracts if short-term sales numbers fluctuate.

Compensation:
This is a 100% commission-based role with no base salary. However, we offer highly competitive commission rates:

  • Earn a percentage of all contracts closed.
  • Recurring commissions on multi-year or subscription-based contracts.
  • Immediate payout upon contract signing.
  • Minimum monthly retainer for each month a deal is closed.
  • Potential to participate in company profit sharing based on performance.
