Position Details

Overview
CookinGenie is seeking a motivated, part-time Sales & Marketing Associate to support our expanding B2B2C & B2C initiatives. Reporting to the Partnership & Events Manager, this role will focus on strengthening and scaling CookinGenie’s relationships with partners, local businesses and event organizers, primarily through lead generation, event planning, and strategic outreach.

This contract position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a knack for relationship-building, and is ready to make a tangible impact in a rapidly growing hospitality-tech startup. As CookinGenie scales, this role offers growth potential for candidates looking to contribute meaningfully to the company’s success and customer reach.

Responsibilities

Partnership & Lead Generation:

  • Identify and gather lead contacts within targeted B2B verticals, ensuring accurate and organized input into CRM.
  • Propose 3rd party ad placements targeting specified groups/locations and compile findings for leadership review.
  • Light outreach to leads and partners, ensuring prompt and professional communication.

Event & Partner Support:

  • Research and vet event opportunities in key markets for B2C and B2B exposure, aligning with CookinGenie’s growth strategy.
  • Manage event and partner details in shared databases to ensure up-to-date, accessible records for the team.
  • Generate collateral for use at events and with partners, aligning messaging and branding with CookinGenie’s vision.
  • Assist with light copywriting and editing for marketing materials, partner resources, and event promos.

Strategic Collaboration:

  • Present new ideas for potential B2B verticals, partnership opportunities, and promotional initiatives to leadership.
  • Represent CookinGenie at local events when appropriate, embodying the brand and mission to potential partners and customers.

Requirements

  • Self-Starter; Experience with remote work in a team
  • Excellent Communication – written & verbal
  • Creative thinking and genuine curiosity
  • Penchant for Organization
  • Familiarity with Hubspot or similar CRM
  • Basic Marketing literacy
  • Proficient in Office365
  • Experience in B2B sales a plus
  • Experience in food-tech or hospitality a plus

Location Preference:

Remote (preferably FL, DC, Austin, Bay Area)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
