As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives and expanding our market presence. This leadership role requires strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships. A background in media sales/partnerships is essential, and extensive experience in political/financial media is preferred. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Sales and Pipeline Management: Generate new leads, qualify prospects, and close deals.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for customers.
- Project Management: Oversee project management activities related to sales and business development initiatives.
- Existing Relationships: Leverage existing relationships to integrate CenterClip with relevant brands.
Experience and Skills:
- Sales and Negotiation: Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving targets.
- Strategic Planning: Proven experience in strategic planning and business development.
- Industry Expertise: Required experience in media, specifically political and financial sectors.
- Customer Relationship Management: Excellent customer relationship management abilities.
- Project Management: Project management experience is preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with market trends and competitive landscape in the industry.
Collaboration: The Sales Director will work daily with the CEO, CMO/COO, CFO, and contracted partners to:
- Outline media organizations and advocacy groups in need of CenterClip's tech and content solutions.
- Develop pricing proposals for clients that can scale appropriately with the organization.
- Secure media partners who engage CenterClip for fixed fee, ad-based, and subscription revenue-sharing agreements.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Equity: Significant equity in CenterClip.
- Cash Compensation: Competitive cash compensation upon closing Series Seed fundraising round.
- Commission: Commission-based compensation available immediately.
