Job Description:
We are looking for a Sales Development Specialist with Enterprise B2B experience. Specifically someone who can handle their assigned day to day tasks with minimal direction. Support will be provided for onboarding and complex enterprise deals, but the basics of responding to clients, emails, and moving deals through the CRM daily are expected to be handled independently. We support, but do not micromanage. The role will be responsible for handling inbound leads during training, but within 4-8 weeks, outbound prospecting into targeted accounts will be added. We are growing our sales team quickly so be prepared for a “start up” environment as we continue to build out processes.

The Role:
The role consists of the following expectations and duties:
- Primarily focused on qualifying inbound / outbound leads to supply attended demos to the Account Executive (AE) team while religiously following the prospecting process.
- Identify additional opportunities with existing customer base. (Ex. additional departments that may need to purchase our services at an existing client company).
- Contact and qualify all system assigned contacts quickly and responding to all prospect inquiries daily.
- Identifying active sales opportunities and transferring them to the AE team.
- Complete all tasks in prospecting process daily
- Properly utilize the CRM (Salesforce) by documenting all sales calls, meetings, and emails, and handling all tasks (such as follow up tasks and deal updates).
- Help identify weaknesses or bottlenecks in the sales process and make suggestions for improvement.
- Attend multiple conferences a year to grow our customer base. 1-2 conferences per year should be expected.
- We are a small, tight-knit team that is growing quickly. The right person will be eligible for rapid advancement as we grow.
- We will provide the tools and knowledge necessary to be successful. You will need to bring the drive and passion. We can teach knowledge, we can’t teach you to want to do the job.

The Pay:
$48,000 - $55,000 Base + Monthly Commission.
$85,000+ OTE (On Target Earnings).
The Perfect Candidate:
- 1 years or more of B2B experience.
- Ethical sales practices and behaviors are expected.
- Competitive personality type that is able to properly identify client needs and slot in how we can assist them.
- Someone who can work confidently with Fortune 500 companies and funded startups.
- Is an independents self starter. You wont have someone micromanaging you, but we do have clear cut expectations regarding performance.
- Inquisitive. Someone who wants to learn about our data and products as quickly as possible.
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting as needed.
