Position: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Location: Remote/Virtual
Employment Type: Full-time (1099 for the first 6 months)

Role Overview: As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at CxO Coaching, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and nurturing potential clients. You will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and setting up meetings for our CEO & Founder, who will personally handle all qualified calls, help design the offering, and close the deal. This role requires a proactive and motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for executive coaching and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients who are senior decision-makers at large companies (>1,000 employees) in roles such as CHRO, VP Talent Development, etc., through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, networking, and industry events.
  • Prospect Outreach: Conduct outreach to prospective clients via phone calls, emails, and social media to introduce CxO Coaching’s services and schedule meetings with the CEO & Founder.
  • Qualify Leads: Assess the needs and challenges of potential clients to determine the fit for CxO Coaching’s solutions.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate and detailed information on prospects and sales activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO & Founder to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and provide insights on prospect interactions.
  • Follow-up: Execute follow-up activities to keep prospects engaged and informed about CxO Coaching’s offerings.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key metrics related to lead generation and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably within a business-to-business environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients. Strong listening skills and ability to ask the right questions.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media platforms (LinkedIn especially) for business purposes.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly driven and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Must be a self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Curiosity: A natural curiosity and willingness to study and learn more about the company, its prospects, and the industries of HR and coaching.
  • Bonus Experience: Prior B2B sales experience is a major bonus, especially in the HR field, but not required.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support and learn from team members.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $2,500/month
  • Commission: Commission of 5% on all deals closed, without a cap and often recurring from clients who stay for long periods of time.
  • Bonuses: Cash bonuses each month for meeting the number of qualified calls booked.
