Townsend Communications, Inc. is seeking driven, intelligent, problem-solving sales and business development individuals who want to get in with a high growth company in Kansas City.
The primary objective of the Sales Development Representative is to qualify inbound prospects as well as research and identify target companies with the goal of setting an appointment for the Account Executives to demonstrate our solution.
The solution is our MyMajors program which supports universities recruitment efforts by supplying high volumes of qualified candidates which are strong fits for their specific major programs.
Responsibilities
· Make purposeful, daily outbound calls to prospects to initiate and nurture meaningful business relationships and to uncover new opportunities
· Conduct pre-call research to gather company and contact intelligence
· Work closely with the marketing department to support marketing campaign efforts in conjunction with your own sourcing of leads.
· Contact, qualify and manage inbound web site leads
· Work with Sales Leadership and other critical company resources to meet or exceed company revenue goals
