Executive Director, Business Development
This position is responsible for managing Percapita’s business development program, leading our sales effort to both channel partners and end users. This position has multiple direct reports including channel partner relationship managers and Percapita business representatives who market our products to end users in the field. The position works in close collaboration with the Client Experience team (which includes product marketing and customer service), Research team, and the product development team. This position Reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.
Responsibilities:
· Identifying, building, and maintaining solid relationships with channel partners.
· Introducing end users to Percapita products and encouraging them to become customers.
· Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
· Directing marketing efforts by presenting market research to and suggesting strategies to expand market penetration.
· Assessing marketing and sales materials and recommending improvements as needed.
· Researching emerging trends and recommending new company offerings to satisfy customers’
needs.
· Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business.
· Presenting business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management.
Qualifications:
· At least three years of experience leading or coordinating business development or sales programs for a financial institution.
· At least three years of experience managing cross-functional teams.
· Knowledge of a broad range of financial products and financial wellness topics generally, and as they apply to people with low incomes specifically.
· Ability to present self as a forward thinker, energetic, motivated, creative, organized, relationship builder, and a leader.
· Ability to display professionalism interacting with Percapita’s channel partners and their
employees.
· Demonstrated skills in program building, critical thinking, verbal and written communication, and digital programs.
· Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
