Position Details

Do you want:

  • A fun yet intellectually stimulating job, the kind where you can actually tell people what you do without them falling asleep?
  • The flexibility to work when you want from where you want? (Yes, even from a secret superhero lair. We won't tell.)
  • To work for a company that you can believe in?

ReelDx is an 11-year-old startup attempting to revolutionize healthcare education. We help build clinical reasoning skills through our library of 700+ HIPAA-compliant videos featuring actual patient encounters. With our video patient cases, lectures become more realistic, and students get to discover the medical mystery of each case (without having to be in the clinic). And with our new cases, InSitu, students can interview our real patients - powered by AI - and then debate a differential diagnosis with our AI preceptor. It’s cutting-edge stuff, which is why we need your help with getting the word out.

You will work directly (but not too directly, we respect personal space) with ReelDx CEO Rob Humbracht and a handful of business savvy magicians, pulling day-to-day success rabbits out of all sorts of hats.

Are you:

  • A natural at communicating and building relationships?
  • Tech-savvy, especially with CRM and lead generation tools? (AI is our friend, not foe here.)
  • Eager to learn about sales and marketing? (Experience is a bonus, but enthusiasm is essential.)
  • A self-starter who can work remotely without someone peeking over your shoulder? (Except for maybe your cat. That's allowed.)

Then, we’re looking for you. Yes, you, future sales and marketing superstar!

Sales and Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to leads, both cold and warm. Engage in active lead generation and prospecting through calling, email, and Linkedin.
  • Qualify leads and schedule initial meetings or demos between potential clients and our sales team.
  • Use CRM tools (Apollo and Pipedrive, primarily) to organize and track progress with leads and opportunities.
  • Assist in managing the initial stages of the sales funnel, ensuring a smooth transition of leads to our Sales Representative.
  • Brainstorm, organize and send monthly marketing newsletter, in collaboration with CEO
  • Help run live events such as webinars.
  • Occasionally attend in-person conferences where needed (roughly one per quarter).
  • Work 15-40 hours/week, with flexibility depending on both your and our needs.

Sales Development Representative Perks:

  • 100% remote work
  • Flexible schedule - we meet daily for a sales standup and weekly for team meetings (currently Mondays at 10:00am PST), but most of the job is flexible.
  • Excellent learning opportunity - work with CEO to develop your strengths and to learn the skills needed to succeed in business
  • Low-key culture - we keep meetings to a minimum and believe in a relaxed work environment. That means no micromanaging, no dress code, and no office politics. Well, maybe some office politics, but only the fun kind.
  • Benefits - paid time off and sick leave, work-from-home reimbursement
  • Pay ranges from $20-$25 per hour based on experience and hussle.

A Day In the Life:

You will spend most of your time executing on sales and marketing campaigns. On any given day you may:

  • Use Apollo to figure out whom to call and when.
  • Meet with the sales team to report on prior day’s outreach and set targets for today’s.
  • Use ChatGPT to help write blog content, email newsletters and social media posts. Don’t worry, it’s not cheating; it’s a custom GPT. It’s just outsourcing to a version of us.
  • Review measurable outcomes (success/fail metrics) for engagement with our target market. For example, how many opens and clicks did we get? What can we learn from our latest outreach campaigns so that the next ones are more effective?

This position is fluid, and there will be opportunities to build skills, take on additional responsibility, and grow with the company.

If that sounds good, then please apply now using the application below:

Because let's face it, you're way too fabulous to be scrolling through job ads all day.
