This is not a sales role, but you do need an understanding of the sales process, be comfortable with semi-cold calls, and talking on the phone to customers.
They will Identify, profile and qualify opportunities moving them through the sales cycle. Interface with local and field internal Microsoft personnel as well as Microsoft partners. Profile accounts and maintain account data quality. Send follow-up information such as sales kits and other collateral to customers. High level of outbound telephone sales activity as well as email communication.

- Years of Experience Required: 2-5 overall years of experience in the field.
- Degrees or certifications required: NO degree is required to be eligible for this role.
- Disqualifiers: Candidates without experience being comfortable with phone conversations will not be eligible for the role.
- Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain understanding of the sales process, comfort with cold calls, no sales experience necessary. MSFT experience preferred but not necessary.
