Role Description
This is an independent contract role for an Independent Travel Agent. The Independent Travel Agent will be responsible for managing travel reservations, providing exceptional customer service, arranging car rentals, creating travel itineraries, making sales pitches, and fostering client relationships. This is a remote role.
Qualifications
Strong experience in reservations and travel arrangements
Exceptional customer service skills
Familiarity with car rental and transportation options
Experience in sales and marketing
Ability to create customized travel itineraries that meet clients' needs and interests
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Enthusiastic and knowledgeable travel expert: You possess a deep understanding of different travel destinations, cultures, and activities.
Sales rockstar: You have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong relationships with clients.
Marketing maven: You're adept at social media marketing, content creation, and generating leads.
Tech-savvy: You're comfortable using a variety of online booking platforms and travel industry tools.

Commission Payment Structure
Commission (Profit) Split:
12%: Agency fee
88%: Agent commission
Commission (Profit) Calculation:
Your commission will be calculated as a percentage of the total selling price (excluding taxes and fees) of any travel packages you sell.
Example:
Selling price of a travel package: $5,000 USD with a supplier commission (Profit) of $450 USD
Your commission rate: 88%
Commission earned: $450,0 x 88% = $396
Additional Notes:
Commission payments will be made on a monthly basis post client trip (If your client departs in January, then supplier will make a payment in February)
Commissions may be subject to additional fees or deductions, as outlined in the Independent Contractor Agreement.
This is a simplified overview, and the full commission structure will be detailed in the Independent Contractor Agreement.
In addition to the commission split mentioned above, Travel with Rad has also designed signature group trips, and the commission for these trips is not predetermined. Once a trip is launched, we will inform our agents of the commission associated with selling that specific trip. For instance, we currently have a trip planned for August 2025, the commission for selling this trip will be a flat rate of $300 USD.
