About the Role:
We are looking for a Consultant who is ready to take their career to the next level by joining our fast-paced, rapidly expanding team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience writing business plans, conducting market research, and creating financial forecasts across various industries and business sizes. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for working with startups and an ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment, while contributing to both client projects and The Exceptional Plan’s internal growth.

As part of our team, you will craft high-quality, comprehensive business plans, provide financial modeling, and offer strategic insights. You will have a unique opportunity to help shape both our clients’ businesses and the future of The Exceptional Plan as we continue our global expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive, high-quality business plans tailored to client needs, including market research, financial forecasting, and strategic analysis.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to refine and enhance service offerings for clients.
  • Provide clients with SBA lender connections and work with financial institutions to help secure funding.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business goals and craft plans that align with their vision.
  • Assist in strategic planning and exit planning for businesses looking to scale or sell.
  • Continuously update and improve the company’s business planning templates and resources to ensure best practices and innovation.
  • Contribute to the internal growth and development of The Exceptional Plan, supporting business decisions that are mutually beneficial.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, financial analysis techniques, and strategic planning methodologies.
  • Thrive in a startup hustle environment, where no day is the same, and flexibility is key to success.

Expectations:

  • At least 5 years of experience writing business plans and conducting financial forecasting.
  • Strong knowledge of business planning, market research, financial modeling, and forecasting across various industries.
  • An understanding of startup environments and the ability to work with businesses at all stages of growth.
  • A desire to help The Exceptional Plan continue its rapid expansion and contribute to the company's mission.
  • A background in accounting is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • A proven track record of delivering results, meeting deadlines, and being accountable.
  • Must have goals for professional growth and be excited about growing alongside The Exceptional Plan.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $75.00 per hour
