Position Details

Job Summary
The Commissioner plays a vital role in overseeing and managing operations within a designated territory. This position requires a proactive individual with strong sales acumen and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with lawyer clients. The Commissioner will be responsible for driving growth through direct sales initiatives, territory management, and effective communication strategies. This role is essential for fostering partnerships and ensuring the successful implementation of programs and services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets within assigned territories.
  • Conduct cold calling to identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Utilize technical sales skills to effectively communicate product benefits and features to potential customers.
  • Oversee territory management, ensuring optimal coverage and engagement with key accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitive landscape analysis.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote services and expand professional connections.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff as needed to enhance team performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in direct sales or outside sales roles, preferably within a technical or software-related industry.
  • Strong skills in territory management and the ability to develop effective strategies for market penetration.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track performance metrics.
  • A self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with cold calling techniques.
  • A strong understanding of technical sales processes is preferred but not mandatory.
