Client Marketing Manager (Remote, Contract) - Elite Online Marketing

Position Details

This role involves proactively managing client marketing services and strategizing improvements to help them achieve their business goals. You will collaborate with the agency team and clients to drive strategies and execute campaigns.

Responsibilities include content calendar management, reporting and analysis, tool / platform administration, and client strategy meetings.

The ideal candidate will proactively lead marketing initiatives while maintaining project scope and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities:

1. Core Marketing Support:

Content Creation and Optimization: Research, create, and optimize engaging content (e.g., blog posts, articles, social media posts) aligned with clients' goals. This includes website content optimization, on-page SEO, and enhancing UX to drive traffic, sales, and conversions.

Marketing Tool Management: Manage clients’ digital assets comprehensively:

  • Website Management: Handle updates, edits, management, improvements, and fixes.
  • Social Media: Conduct audits, reviews, setups, and ongoing monitoring of social media accounts.
  • Online Profile Management: Set up, review, and manage online profiles (e.g., Google Business Profile, local listings, etc.).
  • CRM Systems: Oversee email campaigns, marketing automations, lead/prospect/client nurturing, and automating marketing tasks to improve the customer experience.

2. Strategy and Improvement:

Client Meetings and Strategy: Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss marketing priorities, strategies, and opportunities for growth.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data from tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and aHRefs/SEMrush, using insights to develop actionable strategies that enhance client results.

3. Ad Hoc Client Needs:

Flexible Client Support: Respond to clients' evolving needs and provide support for additional marketing activities beyond the core contract when required.

4. Implementation and Management:

Project Execution: Plan and execute agreed-upon strategies and campaigns within the defined scope, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.

Task and Time Management: Track all tasks and progress using ClickUp for efficient project management and time tracking.

Core Competencies:

  • Strategic Thinking and Execution: Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with client goals, leveraging data insights and innovative thinking.
  • Content Creation and Optimization Skills: Experience creating compelling content for websites, blogs, and social media, with a focus on on-page SEO, UX improvements, and increasing conversions.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Ability to analyze reports from tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, aHRefs/SEMrush, and transform insights into actionable strategies.
  • Client and Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing multiple clients or projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and deadline management.
  • Tool Proficiency: Comfortable using platforms such as ClickUp, Google Drive, ChatGPT or similar AI tools, WordPress or other CMS tools, CRM systems, and social media management platforms.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Optional but Beneficial):

  • Design and Visual Skills: Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva to create compelling visuals.
  • Video and Animation Skills: Experience with video editing or animation software like After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools to produce engaging media content.
  • Paid Advertising Experience: Knowledge of managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns using platforms like Facebook Ads, Google Ads, or others.

Daily Workflow and Tools:

We are a fully remote team that relies on the following tools and processes to stay organized and connected:

  • Communication and Collaboration: We use Slack for daily communication and Zoom for virtual meetings and client discussions.
  • Project Management and Time Tracking: All work is tracked and managed in ClickUp, which includes task management, project progress, and time tracking.
  • Compensation Structure: Pay is based on the work arrangement—either hourly, project-based, or as a portion of the client retainer.
  • Email and Scheduling: We use Google Workspace for email and rely on Google Calendar and ClickUp for scheduling and task management.
