Job Overview
The Business Development Specialist will play a key role in identifying and engaging potential clients who are interested in Powdr Solutions LLC’s services. This role is designed to be fully commission-based, offering substantial earning potential for driven individuals who can connect with prospects and close new business. You will be responsible for generating leads, setting up meetings with qualified potential clients, and contributing to revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- **Prospect for New Clients:** Identify and reach out to potential clients who could benefit from our services (BI, Process Automation, Data Management, and IT Development).
- **Client Qualification:** Ensure that potential clients are qualified by determining their interest and need for our services. Qualified clients must have a clear business need aligned with Powdr Solutions' offerings.
- **Set Meetings:** Schedule and lead meetings with qualified potential clients. Earn $100 per meeting arranged with a qualified lead.
- **Sales Development:** Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through cold outreach, networking, and leveraging online platforms.
- **Close Deals:** Drive the sales process from lead qualification through to signed contracts. You will earn a commission based on the net value of each contract.
- **Maintain Relationships:** Nurture and develop long-term relationships with potential and existing clients to increase future sales opportunities.
- **Market Intelligence:** Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for business development.
Compensation
This is a 100% commission-based role with no base salary. Compensation will include:
- **$100 per meeting** with a qualified potential client (defined as a client expressing clear interest in our services).
- **Commission:** 10% to 20% of net sales after expenses (insurance, development resource costs, and 20% operational budget).
- 10% commission for net sales below $50,000.
- 15% commission for net sales between $50,000 and $100,000.
- 20% commission for net sales exceeding $100,000.
- **Bonuses (Optional):** Additional performance-based bonuses may be available for meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development or sales (preferably in the tech or IT services industry).
- Strong ability to prospect, qualify, and close deals.
- Familiarity with BI, process automation, data management, or IT development services is a strong plus.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a high degree of initiative.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working in a commission-based role or comfort with a commission-based income structure.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline and priorities.
