Role Overview:
As a Business Development Representative, you are the engine of our growth, tasked with the exciting challenge of identifying and nurturing leads to broaden our client base. This role is a unique blend of strategy, creativity, and hustle, offering you a comprehensive view of the sales process from inception to close.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Generate new business opportunities through a mix of cold-calling, LinkedIn and email prospecting, and other innovative outreach strategies.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects through relentless pursuit and strategic engagement.
- Prospect Engagement: Connect with potential clients to deeply understand their needs and articulate how Propel's solutions can drive their success.
- Collaboration: Work in tandem with the marketing and product teams to refine messaging and product offerings based on market feedback.
- Presentation and Negotiation: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing Propel's value proposition.
- Networking: Engage in both in-person and online networking, representing Propel at industry events, webinars, and forums.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales or business development, with a strong preference for backgrounds in the SaaS industry.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an innate ability to persuade and inspire.
- Robust networking skills, comfortable with both in-person and online environments.
- A proactive learner, eager to absorb information rapidly and apply it effectively.
