The Business Development Representative ("BDR") position is the perfect opportunity to build and grow a career in Professional Service Sales. As a Business Development Representative, you will develop relationships with successful business owners and qualifying prospects for ELA's tax reduction and related professional service offerings.
BDRs make calls from qualified leads, maintain and update pipeline, follow up and schedule appointments, qualify sales leads and set up appointments for Account Executives, daily reporting and cold calls. This position requires determination, focus, tenacity, and resiliency. Your efforts will have a direct impact on our company’s growth!
This position reports directly to the Manager, Business Development with a remote, work from home opportunity.
How you'll make a difference:
- Drive Pipeline from prospect outreach to close
- Uncover opportunities via phone conversation and other channels to create a vision for our prospect as to how they will benefit from our products and services.
- Partnering closely with Account Executives to identify new leads to close deals.
- Consistently meet or exceed quotas and important metrics.
- Probe for prospect needs via phone and web research.
- Accurately document details of identified opportunities for timely follow up on leads.
- Support specific marketing programs, lead generation campaigns, and targeted sales activities.
- Strive for self-improvement and possess the curiosity to stay abreast of industry and market trends by using our training systems, sales books, and collateral.

- Ability to build professional rapport by telephone with prospects at Executive, or C level.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and organizational skills required.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes and tools.

Desired skills/experience
- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience or transferrable skills
- Experience in Sales Development or Business Development
- Experience in commission sales (technical or non-technical)
- Compelling Communicator
- High contact customer-facing roles requiring quick thinking and diplomacy
- Knowledge of CRM systems. We use Pipedrive for our sales CRM.

Job Type: Part-Time 25 hours a week
Pay: $48,000 - $74,000 per year (includes commissions)
