Our primary clients are parents wanting to create Pinterest-worthy event experiences for their children. Our products are proudly sourced from small, women-owned businesses in the USA, providing a holistic end-to-end party planning experience through both our e-commerce platform and brick-and-mortar location in West Hartford, Connecticut.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate Business Development Rep to be the first point of contact in our sales cycle, supporting our retail and event operations. You will identify opportunities for growth, assist clients in planning their dream events, and contribute to the overall success of our go-to-market strategy. If you love making celebrations memorable, thrive in fast-paced environments, and have an eye for detail, we’d love to have you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify high-potential clients who can benefit from our event solutions and work with them to create unforgettable celebrations.
  • In this role, you'll properly qualify and learn about a customer's needs, which is integral to success in a sales role.
  • Generate meetings for the sales team through the rapid response to and qualification of inbound leads.
  • Develop, test and iterate messaging across multiple channels, industries and personas.
  • Contribute learnings and best practices to improve sales processes and support team members.
  • Reflect our company values of accountability, effort, and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • This is a remote position, located near central CT is a plus.
  • Have 1+ years of work experience, preferably in an inbound or outbound sales development role, event planning, or a similar environment.
  • Have a BA/BS or equivalent experience.
  • Continuously seek improvement and are committed to achieving excellence.
  • Excited, motivated, and inspired by exceeding goals and creating memorable event experiences.
  • Thoughtful, engaging, energetic, and self-aware, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Focused on details, proactive, and able to manage tasks independently while maintaining a professional approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Base Pay Range: $18.00—$22.00 USD

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
