Position Details

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team as a Business Development Representative. In this role, you will focus on generating new business leads, primarily targeting small businesses with fewer than 50 employees. Your primary responsibility will be to set appointments for initial calls with our Director of Sales Operations, ensuring at least 4 appointments are scheduled per week. This position requires a strategic approach utilizing various platforms and methods, including LinkedIn, CRM tools, and direct outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Appointment Setting: Call on small business owners (under 50 employees) to schedule at least 4 initial meetings per week with the Director of Sales Operations.
  • CRM Management: Enter all activities and relevant information into the Less Annoying CRM to ensure accurate tracking of leads and follow-up actions.
  • Social Selling via LinkedIn: Utilize LinkedIn’s social selling strategies to leverage existing relationships and connections, creating opportunities for outreach.
  • Lead Follow-up: Use MailChimp-generated leads to introduce Keylan to potential new clients and engage with them to set appointments.
  • Strategic Outreach: Sort through potential leads, conduct outreach via phone and LinkedIn, and build relationships that convert into appointments.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship-building.
  • Experience using LinkedIn for social selling and professional networking.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Less Annoying CRM, is a plus.
  • Proficient in lead generation tools like MailChimp and other outreach platforms.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple leads and activities simultaneously.

Position: Business Development Representative – Sales Support

Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours per week

Compensation: $25/hour

Location: Fully Virtual/Remote
