Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager specializing in renewable energy identifies and capitalizes on new opportunities for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) to drive company growth. This role involves strategic market analysis, relationship-building, and proposal development to expand the company's footprint in renewable energy markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess new business opportunities for PPAs in utility-scale renewable energy projects.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand renewable energy trends and competitive landscapes.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets in renewable energy sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including energy producers, utilities, and governmental entities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations for renewable energy PPA opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record in business development and sales within the renewable energy industry.
- Strong knowledge of PPAs and renewable energy market dynamics.
