We all see the stories about families living paycheck to paycheck, about increasing credit card debt, about social security going broke, etc. With its financial education games/simulations and lessons, Stock-Trak is a leading provider of educational supplements to universities. Stock-Trak is also a popular choice among corporations that want to white label Stock-Trak’s platforms for either employee education or customer acquisition programs.
THE POSITION
The primary responsibilities are to drive new sales within the global college and corporate markets while ensuring the renewals from our existing base of clients. The StockTrak.com website is not only our namesake but is also our largest and most well-known product used by over 60% of U.S. universities. The ideal candidate will have strong sales, communication, leadership and relationship building skills with several years of experience. Experience in the Fintech field, academic sales and a passion for investing are also desired traits of the ideal candidate. We encourage anyone with a background in those fields to apply!
Pay: Base salary, sales commission, and performance bonuses. Expected total compensation $100k-150k
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years sales experience, including at least 1 year of academic sales.
- Business degree preferred.
- Must be able to travel to conferences (primarily in the US) at least 8x per year for 2-3 days per conference and occasionally to visit clients.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both oral and written).
- Able to set up an exhibit booth and present at conferences.
- Comfortable reaching out and communicating with professors and corporate clients.
- Comfortable cold-calling and data-mining leads.
- Able to work independently both at home and when travelling.
- Passionate about financial education, including personal finance, savings, investing and the stock market.
- Working knowledge of personal finance and investing.
- Motivated by making sales, achieving sales targets, and earning commissions.
- Proactive, self-motivated and desire to perform and exceed objectives.
- Able to work in a team environment and willingness to share ideas on our products and services.
- Occasionally transport booth weighing up to 55lbs when attending conferences.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain existing clients ($1.5 million+), strengthen relationships, and ensure renewals.
- Prospect new opportunities, perform product demos, issue quotes and secure new business.
- Maintain detailed communication records in our CRM (Zoho).
- Coordinate with account managers and product managers to meet all client deliverables.
- Collaborate with our marketing team on messaging and communications.
- Train and manage junior sales team members.
- Travel and present at colleges and conferences.
- Attend weekly sales and product meetings.
- Set goals for sales team and measure results.
- Conduct meeting with sales team to discuss progress and opportunities.
- Establish sales strategies and provide guidance for the sales team.
- Report to executive management.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
