Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join us as a Business Development Manager. This individual will focus on expanding our outreach within the U.S. market by identifying new opportunities, developing strong business relationships, and driving revenue growth. A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the environmental monitoring industry, and familiarity with environmental monitoring equipment will be an added advantage. Experience with Spectra or similar equipment is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for increasing U.S. based sales and support.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in environmental consulting firms, government agencies, and other relevant sectors.
- Promote Spectra’s equipment offerings, demonstrating their value to potential clients.
- Generate new leads and convert them into long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor rental solutions that meet client needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continually refine business strategies.
- Travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (2+ years) in business development, sales, or account management within the environmental or scientific equipment sector.
- Strong knowledge of environmental monitoring equipment, groundwater sampling tools, and VOC detection equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for negotiation and closing deals.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and meet sales targets.
- Familiarity with Spectra Scientific equipment is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and engage directly with customers to drive business growth.

Pay: $43,680.00 - $55,000.00 per year
