OAK THEORY is a Women of Color-owned and operated studio specializing in Branding & Interface Design. We are a 100% remote studio with teammates in cities like SF, NY, London, and Warsaw. As a minority-owned business, we believe in the importance of diverse perspectives and aim to create innovative, inclusive solutions for our clients.

Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales/Business Development Manager to join our team at Oak Theory. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new leads, building relationships, and closing deals for our digital design and development services. This position offers a modest base salary combined with high commission incentives based on performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and identify potential clients through various channels, including cold outreach, networking events, and online research.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand client requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Present our services persuasively and effectively to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the design and development teams to ensure client expectations are met and projects are delivered successfully.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business and referrals.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the digital design and development industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with digital design and development processes is a plus.
  • A sales playbook will be provided to guide your efforts.

Compensation:

This position offers a modest base salary with a high commission structure designed to reward strong sales performance. The earning potential is unlimited, with commissions increasing as sales targets are exceeded.

This is a fully remote 1099 contract position.
