Important Note: This is a commission-based independent contractor position (1099) for entrepreneurial business development and executive recruitment professionals. Compensation is commission-based with the potential for equity participation through stock options for top performers.

Our Executive Deal Advisors are experts in navigating M&A, financings, restructurings, and other strategic transactions for clients across various industries. We're looking for motivated Business Development Directors with Executive Recruitment experience who are self-motivated and eager to grow our client base and bring new Executive Deal Advisors into the DEALEXEC team.
Position Overview:
As a Business Development Director at DEALEXEC, you'll serve as the driving force behind our business growth. You’ll be responsible for both client acquisition and recruitment of top-tier transactional executives to join our team of Executive Deal Advisors.
You will work as an independent contractor with complete flexibility over your schedule, and your compensation will be performance-driven, offering unlimited earning potential. High achievers will also have the opportunity to earn equity participation through stock options.

Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients in specific industry segments and geographic regions. Proactively approach leads using your professional network and industry platforms like LinkedIn.
- Executive Recruitment: Recruit, vet, and onboard Executive Deal Advisors who specialize in M&A, financings, and complex strategic transactions.
- Relationship Building: Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and candidates, aligning their needs with DEALEXEC’s services.
- Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies for client acquisition and business development, aiming for rapid revenue growth.
- Marketing & Presentation: Present DEALEXEC’s value proposition to prospective clients and candidates, showcasing tailored solutions for their needs.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our leadership team to continually refine the client acquisition and recruitment process, ensuring high client satisfaction.
- Drive Referrals: Encourage referrals from clients and candidates to generate new business and expand DEALEXEC’s reach.
Qualifications:
- Proven Track Record: 7+ years of business development, executive recruitment, and/or sales experience, preferably in professional services, executive recruitment or transaction advisory industry.
- Strong Network: Demonstrated ability to leverage a professional network of C-suite executives, VPs, and decision-makers to drive business.
- Client Acquisition Skills: Experience in identifying and acquiring clients, closing high-value deals, and building long-term business relationships.
- Executive Recruitment Experience: Experience recruiting and placing top-tier professionals, particularly in M&A, finance, and executive-level roles, is highly preferred.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Self-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and proactively to identify and pursue new business.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfort using platforms like LinkedIn for lead generation, client engagement, and business development.

- Are you confident in generating immediate sales/placement opportunities through your network within the first 60 to 90 days?
- Are you comfortable with a commission-based compensation structure (5-9% of revenue), with the potential for equity participation based on performance?
