SecondMuse Group is seeking a motivated, strategic, relationship-driven and detail-oriented 1099 Contractor to deliver strategies toward its growing impact investing firm, SecondMuse Capital and its innovative finance offering, Future Economy Lab.
Key partners will include the Global Business Development team, which is responsible for driving company global business development through the advancement of our programs, and the SecondMuse Capital team, which is responsible for building out and delivering our impact investing practice.
- Refinement and execution of business development strategies for our innovative finance offering, Future Economy Lab (SecondMuse Capital)
- Outreach through existing relationships and networks to potential clients in the corporate social responsibility and philanthropic arms of major financial institutions and family offices, in coordination with SecondMuse team
- Build out and manage a global opportunity and relationship database while contributing to management of internal databases
- Analysis of SecondMuse performance and insights to inform strategy and implementation
- Relationship-building strategies to support long-term business development opportunities with existing and prospective clients

- Experience in working with philanthropic organizations, private sector companies, governments, and/or NGOs, particularly ones focused on impact investing, supporting marginalized communities, economic development, workforce development and/or entrepreneur support
- Ability to point to specific examples of having developed and operationalized strategies that have taken an organization to the next stage of growth
- Ability to build strong relationships with potential clients and partners, identify opportunities and secure revenue from private sector players

Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of consulting or advisory experience in business development, entrepreneur support, innovation, workforce development, management consulting and/or fund management
- Highly proficient with the Google and Microsoft suites
