Job Description
Compitav is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This is a full commission role, where you will be responsible for bringing in new clients within your assigned territory. With aggressive pay and immediate opportunities for growth, this position allows you to leverage your expertise in technology and technical sales to generate new business opportunities through cold calling, upselling, and relationship building.
Duties
- Identify and target potential clients through research and networking in your territory.
- Conduct cold calls to generate leads and establish new business relationships.
- Present and demonstrate products or services to clients, emphasizing their benefits and value.
- Develop tailored sales strategies to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that arise.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position our offerings.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote products and expand your professional network.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in territory sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong cold calling skills with a successful track record in lead generation.
- Ability to establish and build rapport with existing clientele and ensure their needs are met and upsell accordingly.
- Familiarity with technology or technical sales is highly desirable.
- Excellent direct sales skills with the ability to effectively upsell products.
- Demonstrated business development capabilities focused on building long-term client relationships.
- Proficiency in using CRM software for tracking sales activities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively while working independently.
